What makes the moderate support crop top sports bra so easy to move in?

To get the most out of your sporting activities, you need to be able to move around as you please. Increasing your freedom of movement is what motivated us to design this sports bra. We started by adding elastane to the fabric to make it more stretchy. We've also designed a swimmer's back to free up the shoulder blades and give you greater ease of movement.

How does the moderate support crop top sports bra help wick away perspiration?

This sports bra has been designed with technical fabric that wicks away perspiration and dries quickly.Stay dry throughout your workout.

What is the cut of the moderate support crop top sports bra?

The originality of this sports bra is that it combines the support benefits of a bra with a crop cut. The first layer of the sports bra is covered by a second layer of fabric to create a crop top look. Pair with leggings to create a trendy, sporty look.

Why removable pads on the moderate support crop top sports bra?

We've added two foam pads to this sports bra. Removable, they can be easily removed if you wish thanks to the openings provided on the model. Why are there pads?To meet 3 essential needs: More support and comfort by covering more of the chest, but also more protection against impact. With their stylish effect, they create a lovely curve on the bust.

Why is it important to protect the breasts during exercise?

The breasts are fragile because they are mainly supported by the skin. Regardless of your cup size or age, it's important to understand that the movements and bouncing they undergo during sport can make them up to 5 times heavier, depending on the intensity of the activity. Wearing a sports bra provides essential support and protects your breasts from impacts, which prevents pain and premature sagging.

Why have several support levels?

Exercise subjects your breasts to stresses and strains that stretch the skin and ligaments. Without the right level of support, the risk of pain and premature sagging is increased. But too much support can also have harmful consequences over time. Adjusting the level of support in your bra according to your cup size and the intensity of the impact is essential. The aim is to protect your bust without altering natural breast movement.

How do we determine the support levels offered by Decathlon's sports bras?

The bra models are validated in our laboratories using a test to assess breast support. This test measures the reduction in the acceleration of breast movement during physical exercise. They are classified as follows: 1 for light support, 3 for medium support and 5 for high support.

Which level of support do you need for which sport?

Depending on the intensity of your sport, you can choose from 3 levels: - Level 1: light support for activities that cause gentle breast movement (Pilates, stretching, strength training, etc.); - Level 3: medium support for activities that cause a moderate level of bounce (dancing, fitness, cardio training, etc.); - Level 5: high support for activities involving intensive movements (step aerobics, running, trampolining, etc.).

How to measure your sports bra size

It's essential to get a bra that's the right size for your body in order to keep yourself comfortable and supported. To choose the right bra, follow these steps: - In front of a mirror, take a tape measure; - Place the tape measure horizontally against your upper back, roughly level with the bottom of your shoulder blades; - Bring the tape measure across the fullest part of your bust; - Take the measurement without pulling it tight; For increased accuracy, take a look at our online calculator.

Designed for intense sports use, this sports bra is resistant to frequent washing. We advise removing the foam pads before washing and placing them in our laundry bag (ref. 8505236). Wash at no more than 30°C. Use liquid detergent rather than powder, and do not use softeners as they could affect the fabric's breathability.Avoid using the tumble dryer. These recommendations will help extend the life of your sports bra.
